The touchpad on the controllers is what will make this console slick. Graphics is already great on high-end android games so I guess what's missing is some games with good story-lines.
Affordable console: check
Free/cheap games/apps: check
Hardware buttons: check
Analog stick: check
Touchpad: checkI'm gonna get one since it's not that expensive, but hopefully future games will have more substance than current good-graphics games on the playstore.

Same here. At that price I will get one just because.
Now...I can play Android games with a real controller. Free up my phone for other things when my kids come over and wanna see Android games on the TV. Or when they just wanna play games on my Android phone.
Now I need a bigger place.....so I can get another TV.....lol.

If I'm not mistaken, this won't run the Play store games.
That's probably because of the lack of standardized controller support.Too bad, because the potential is really there.
I hope they survive until all things settle into place - a standardized mapping support for all Android games, and the next generation hardware in Ouya 2 .(Tegra 4 etc.)
Then we could really witness a revolution in gaming
