Commissioned sales and buyers representative are incompatible.?? A "Buyers" Agent is contractually known as the selling agent.? Real estate agents have adopted "buyers" agency to protect the selling agent commission from negotiation.? In reality it is nothing but government sanctioned (and in many states encouraged) fraud, they are still a commissioned salesperson working to close a deal.? The vast majority of them are seriously derelict in their fiduciary responsibilities, since they do not consider giving equal consideration for financial interest to a buyer they are representing to that of sellers in general, many agents will be happy to tell you that buying is a lifestyle decision and selling is a financial decision.?
A "Buyers" Agent may offer some convenience as a single point of contact and keeping a contract on track, but it is very much "buyer beware" for any information or "services" beyond that, they are working on commission and have trained as a salesperson to get you to part with your hard earned cash. ? ?
